Description:
There’s no reason to deprive yourself of enjoying festive beverages at parties just because you don’t drink alcohol. Here’s a pitcher of enjoyment using blueberry wine from Rancho Chiota. To replicate the brandy flavor in this sangria, you can use lemon, juice, cider vinegar, or verjus blanc (unripe grape juice).
Servings: 6
Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Ingredients:
1 bottle blueberry wine
1 orange, thinly sliced
1 lemon, thinly sliced
1 cup mixed berries (strawberries, raspberries, etc.)
2 oz brandy substitute (optional)
1 tbsp honey or sugar (optional)
Ice cubes
Sparkling water (optional)
Preparation:
Combine the blueberry wine, sliced fruit, and mixed berries in a large pitcher.
Add a splash of the brandy substitute of choice for added richness, and sweeten with honey or sugar if desired.
