These awards, known as the “Oscars of the travel industry,” were held on November 7th in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, marking the Travvy’s 10th anniversary. With four standout wins this year, Puerto Vallarta proudly takes its place as a premier destination in Mexico, celebrated for its beauty, hospitality, cuisine, and tourism services. Looking ahead, our hotel community has more opportunities to promote their packages to agents so Puerto Vallarta can break into the awards for best all-inclusive luxury, adults only, and family categories, as well as best hotel/resorts and the tour operators who serve the cruise port also have room to improve their package offerings to help PV rank higher as a cruise destination. However, we can celebrate the well-deserved 2024 awards; Puerto Vallarta is on the global stage, proving year after year that it’s a place worth celebrating.
