Pitch a Story

A few guidelines to keep in mind:

• You MUST type something in every section or the form cannot be submitted.
• Write a blog-style article with concise and easy-to-read sections and a heading.
• Don’t stress about perfect wording—we’ll take care of editing.
• Keep articles concise and easy to read.
• Bullet points are fantastic for clarity.
• Lists like (Top 3, 5, 7, 10, or 20) are always popular.
• We love specifics! Share your favorites and all the details about your topics.
• DO NOT write about your business, but rather the topic of what you do. Articles cann0t be advertorial in nature. 
• DO – educate readers on a topic. Tell us about something, the importance of what you do, and why they should care. Or something you’ve learned about Mexico. Living here, working here, opening a business here, or something you love or don’t like. There are no rants, though. Constructive and concise. 
• Write about your favorite —tacos, waiter, bartender, or tienda owner. Show your love for Vallartanesse people, especially if you are an expat. Take us on a journey. 

There is no need to cover every aspect of a subject. Shorter, content-rich articles (around 500 – 600 words) are preferred. Longer articles are reserved for more complex topics, like residency paperwork or business dealings, which experts typically handle.
