You’re missing out if you haven’t seen Amy Armstrong perform yet. She’s a master at blending her stunning voice with her sharp and colorfully hilarious wit, creating an evening that’s nothing short of pure joy. People often describe her as “the voice of an angel, the mouth of a sailor” —honestly, it couldn’t be more spot-on. Her voice is truly something special—rich, soulful, and captivating. But it’s her comedy and impeccable timing that leave your mouth muscles sore from smiling and laughing. Not from ________! (Which is something Sailor Amy might say, but not I. lol) You’ll laugh just as much as her incredible vocal talent moves you.
What I love most about Amy, though, is what you don’t see from the stage—her genuine heart and positive attitude toward life. She’s a friend who truly radiates kindness; that energy shines through in every performance. You can feel her joy in the music and laughter, and it’s contagious.
Amy performs alongside the incredibly talented Mark Hartman on piano every Saturday evening at 7:30 at Nacho Daddy.
And if you’re a fan of the 80s, don’t miss her Wednesday show at 7:30, where she’s joined by Eugenia Prieto on violin and Mimi-Al Ramirez on guitar. It’s a fun, nostalgic trip down memory lane, full of energy and fantastic neon music.
Whether you’re in the mood to laugh, sing along, or soak in some great tunes, —do yourself a favor and see Amy Armstrong’s shows!
