This year, Vallarta PRIDE is turning up the volume on inclusivity with the debut of “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun” — the first-ever PRIDE event in Puerto Vallarta created exclusively for women of the LGBTQ+ community.
Spearheaded by Lova Productions, the new event brand was dreamed up by power duo Eva Jiménez and Losanna Díaz, who saw a gap in the local scene: not enough spaces and events tailored for lesbian, bisexual, trans, and curious women — not just during PRIDE, but year-round.
Their response? A full-day celebration that starts on the Bay of Banderas and ends at the iconic Casa Cúpula Pool Club. The day kicks off with a private boat tour, featuring open bar, snacks, lunch, and water activities, and continues with a sun-soaked pool party packed with music by DJ Dani Kokonuta, a drag show by Shamira Queen, and more food and drinks.
Backed by Jet’s Private Tours, Casa Cúpula, and community sponsors like Cassandra Shaw Jewelry and Art(e) On U, the event is part of the Vallarta PRIDE 2025 “Revolution All-Inclusive” program. It’s more than a party—it’s the beginning of a movement to center queer women in Vallarta’s festive LGBTQ+ scene.
Girls Just Wanna Have Fun takes place on Wednesday, May 21st, 2025, from 11 AM to 8 PM.

Because women deserve more than just a seat at the table — they deserve their own damn boat and pool.
