Originally from the UK (I was born right opposite the famous Ascot racecourse!), I first came to Mexico in 2005 as part of my Modern Languages Degree at Cambridge. I fell in love with the country from day one: the people, landscapes, history, culture and, of course, the food! However, it was my time in Puerto Vallarta in 2013 that changed everything. I took a sabbatical and volunteered for 6 months at Pasitos de Luz, an incredible local charity providing free therapy for kids with disabilities from low-income families. I met so many amazing people during that time and knew that PV was the place for me. I eventually returned in 2018 to dedicate myself full-time to Pasitos and then, in 2024, was given the opportunity to join the Vallarta Botanical Garden as their new Head of Development. This was the opportunity of a lifetime, and I grabbed it with both hands!
